WingSwept Communications, Inc. (WCI) is an IT consulting company specializing in Web and database development. Our goal is to transform the way our clients do business. With three regional offices, we exceed our clients' needs by providing such integrated services as interactive media design, e-commerce, application development, networking, interface design and security.

In the past decade, WingSwept has grown from one man's vision to a full-service team providing specialized services across the Web technology industry. WingSwept began in 1995 when company founder and president Jay Strickland built a small technology consulting business while attending North Carolina State University. Upon graduation and his subsequent service in the U.S. Air Force, Jay established WCI as a corporation to formalize his consulting work with his commercial, education, and nonprofit.

With a growing list of clients and a team of consultants on board, Jay honorably separated from the Air Force in February 2002 to lead WCI full-time. Using his extensive military experience and reputation, Jay incorporated WingSwept Technologies, Inc. (WTI) a month later to work with the U.S. Intelligence Community on various projects dealing with national security issues. WTI continues to provide high-end Web technology consulting to government and large commercial clientele on enterprise projects which include technologies such as portals, enterprise content management systems and data warehousing.

With more than 10 years of Web technology experience, WingSwept's highly skilled team employs best-practice techniques to address specific project requirements. Our consultants' integrity is unparalleled, and most of our consultants hold positions of trust with the U.S. government.
