Graphic Designer - Garner, NC
Job summary
WingSwept is accepting applications for a self-motivated graphic designer to work on various interactive media projects for WingSwept's growing list of clients. This is either a part-time hourly or full-time salaried position with benefits to include competitive bonuses, paid time off, health insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, short/long term disability, life/AD&D, corporate chaplain, and flexible work schedule.
The responsibilities of the position will include:
- Create interactive media elements and products based on customer requirements
- Collaborate with marketing personnel and print company on corporate/client campaigns
- Develop corporate branding packages and supporting interactive marketing materials
- Conduct research into client industries in order to provide a baseline for creative works
- Use creative tactics, maximize resources, and be able to adhere to budget at all times
- Create unique branding material such as logo design for customers in quick fashion
- Work with company technical personnel to provide User Interface design services
- Perform updates and maintenance of Web sites based client feedback and requests
- Perform all HTML related coding of the design elements of each creative design
- Develop Flash animations to meet client requirements
- Conduct usability testing for in-process designs as well as site update projects
Minimum requirements
- High school diploma, at least two years of secondary education preferred
- Must be able to provide design portfolio to demonstrate capabilities and experience
- Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week as a part time employee or a full-time 40 hour work week as a full-time employee
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interactions with customers on a daily basis
- Previous experience as a graphic designer or equivalent role is preferred
Compensation
Compensation will be determined based on the qualifications of the candidate, demonstrated experience, and the nature of the position with monthly profit sharing bonuses. Salary histories and references are required.
