Hiring Coordinator - Garner, NC

Job summary

WingSwept has an immediate opening for a self-motivated hiring coordinator to manage the administrative and assessment portions of our hiring processes. This is a part-time hourly position with benefits to include performance based bonuses, 401(k) with matching contributions, corporate chaplain, and flexible work schedule.

The responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Learn the business model of WingSwept and be able to talk with applicants about our history
  • Develop, edit and update job descriptions for multiple positions as needed
  • Create and post job advertisements on various Internet sites and resources
  • Manage the flow and review of resumes submitted through multiple channels for all positions
  • Communicate with applicants regarding the hiring process and their status
  • Scheduling applicants for the various steps of the hiring process
  • Schedule, conduct and review computerized assessment tests for all applicants
  • Check both listed and developed references for applicants
  • Communicate with management on the information available on applicants prior to interview
  • Schedule selected applicants for background check and drug test
  • Convey offer letters to selected applicants and managed the process of getting signatures
  • Manage a database of qualified applicants for various positions
Minimum requirements
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in human resources or recruiting
  • High school diploma, some college is preferred
  • Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week with some weeks up to 29 hours per week
  • Firm grasp of technology and how use MS Office products and other applications
  • Ability to conduct research via the web and apply knowledge towards new research methods
  • Must have reliable transportation for travel as far as 75 miles from the office
  • Must have an ability to read resumes in an insightful, quick, and experienced manner
  • Must have excellent verbal and telephone communication skills
  • Must present a professional and dignified image to applicants, partners and peers
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is approximately $14-18/hour plus performance based bonuses. Compensation will be determined based on the qualifications of the candidate. Salary histories and references are required. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, corporate chaplain, and performance based bonuses.
