Inside Sales Representative, Network Division - Garner, NC

Job summary

WingSwept is accepting applications for a self-motivated Inside Sales Representative to work as an inside sales person for the network division. The position entails making initial contact with prospects, qualifying them as potential clients, and schedule appointments for WingSwept's outside sales person. This is a full-time salaried position. The position includes commissions based on appointments scheduled, competitive bonuses, paid time off, health insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, short/long term disability, life/AD&D, corporate chaplain, and flexible work schedule. This position is not a sales position, but will require someone comfortable setting the stage for an outside sales person to be successful. The ideal candidate for this position will first and foremost be great communicating with potential clients on the phone. The ideal candidate will have a thirst for success and an ability to understand the network services provided by WingSwept. The ideal candidate will exhibit above average computer skills and thrive in an environment where they are personally responsible and rewarded for their success.

The responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Learn the products, features and benefits for all products and services sold in the network division
  • Web and database development for internal and external projects
  • Complete initial training program and attend weekly network meetings to increase knowledge
  • Maintain a professional attitude in dealing with customers, prospects, and staff members
  • Clearly and accurately explain basic information on features and benefits to prospects in non-technical terms
  • Maintain accurate notes in our CRM system and update records as the central repository for all information
  • Average 70 qualifying calls per day for a total of 350 per week to provided and researched leads
  • Schedule an average of five qualified appointments per week
  • Comply with company policy for safeguarding customer and corporate proprietary information
Minimum requirements
  • High school diploma, BS degree preferred
  • Must be able to work a full-time 40 hour work week
  • Ability & willingness to operate in a dynamic environment maintaining a "win/win" attitude
  • Must have a outstanding understanding of business and customer service principles
  • Must have excellent verbal and telephone communication skills
  • Must present a professional and dignified image to prospects, partners and customers
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position will consist of a base salary plus commissions and profit sharing. Potential for variable compensation will be dependent on performance. This position does offer opportunities for advancement both in terms of increasing responsibilities within the job as well as promotion to another position within the company.
