Inside Sales Consultant - Garner, NC
Job summary
WingSwept has immediate openings for motivated inside sales representatives in our vertical marketing division. These are full-time base salary plus commission positions with benefits to include competitive bonuses, paid time off, health insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, short/long term disability, life/AD&D, corporate chaplain, and flexible work schedule.
The responsibilities of the position will include:
- Learn the products, features and benefits for all products and services sold in the division
- Complete initial training program and attend weekly sales meetings for recurring training
- Maintain a professional attitude in dealing with customers, prospects, and staff members
- Clearly and accurately explain features and benefits to prospects in non-technical terms
- Maintain accurate notes in our CRM system and update records as required and instructed
- Average a minimum of 50 calls a day for a total of 250 per week to provided leads
- Meet a monthly sales quota as set by management based on past performance of other reps
- Spend at least 3 hours a day making initial contact with provided leads, with the remainder of time spent following up on scheduled activities for previously called leads
- Comply with company policy for safeguarding customer and corporate proprietary information
- Work as part of a team of dedicated sales reps to cross-train and achieve team sales goals
- NO web design or programming skills needed - these are sales only positions
- Attend industry events on a voluntary basis to cultivate prospects (expenses paid)
Minimum requirements
- Previous sales experience, preferably in an inside sales capacity making outbound calls
- Must be able to work a consistent full-time 40 hour work week
- Must have a outstanding understanding of sales and customer service principles
- Must have excellent verbal and telephone communication skills
- Must present a professional and dignified image to prospects, partners and customers
- Experience with sales territory management is desired
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. US citizenship is required
Compensation
The expected compensation for these positions on an annual basis is expected to be between $35K and $60K depending on performance and is comprised of above industry average base salary and an aggressive commission plan. Benefits include health insurance and 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, ten annual paid company holidays, and personal paid time off.
