Is your organization NIST 800-171 compliant?
We’ve had a number of clients who are government contractors ask us to help them with NIST 800-171 information security compliance in recent months. Some of them knew about the NIST 800-171 guidelines and some were caught completely off guard, but it was required for them to renew their contract. We’ve also gone through the process ourselves.
It’s important to note that compliance requires process documentation, employee training and an audit process that detects and documents each time that the mandated process wasn’t followed.
