WingSwept has been recognized as one of the top places to work in the Triangle by the Triangle Business Journal.  The company was honored at an event hosted by the TBJ on October 3rd, along with 34 other companies in the Triangle.

Companies were awarded based on a survey administered to employees by Quantum Market Research.  After being nominated, a minimum percentage of a company’s employees were required to participate in the survey.  Companies receiving the most positive feedback were named as one of the Best Places to Work in the Triangle for 2013.

“Employees are a company’s most valuable asset,” says Triangle Business Journal Publisher Bryan Hamilton. “These 35 companies have worked hard to ensure their teams cherish the workplace culture and ultimately become their biggest champions.”

Although a positive work environment obviously presents advantages for employees, the benefits do not stop at the company’s walls, notes WingSwept CEO Jay Strickland.

“We’re honored to be recognized as a great place to work by the Triangle Business Journal”, says Strickland, “and we’re especially excited that this is based on our own employees’ feedback.  We’ve worked hard to make our company a positive place to be, and we believe that happier employees lead to happier customers.”

Companies recognized by the TBJ ranged from 10 to over 3,800 employees, and included major area employers such as NetApp, Caterpillar and Rex Hospitals.  More information, including the slideshow of recognized companies, can be found on the Triangle Business Journal’s Website.
